Hi, GREATBOOKsters. Welcome to another edition of “Great Books, Great Voices” where we’re igniting a new world of community, connection, and conversation, one book at a time.
In this episode our guest is Olivia Benson, author of the book For the Love of My Father: A Spiritual Guide for Women Healing from the Absence of a Father in the Age of Spiritual Evolution, which explores the epidemic of fatherlessness in America and the issues and trauma associated with it.
A practicing attorney in Florida for more than thirty years and a graduate of the University of Miami Schools of Business and Law, Benson offers a hopeful path for women who grew up without a father, to be made whole in their relationship.
She addresses men as well, assisting them in supporting the women in their lives on their healing journey. Her book also speaks to absent fathers by providing non-blaming insight and perspective on the impact their absence has in their child’s life.
So grab a coffee or tea and enjoy this episode of “Great Books, Great Voices.”
