Books aren't just ink on paper. Rather, they're passports to a world where connections crackle with electricity. In a world increasingly wrapped in isolation, these literary marvels wield the power to ignite communities, spark conversations, and forge bonds that defy the digital haze.
The Great Good Place is one of my all-time favorite books! I actually teach acupuncture colleagues how to incorporate the concepts of the third place into their businesses, and create spaces that offer community and connection as well as healing. Books are such great connectors too. We need more third places in our world!
A dear friend of mine launched Third Place Bar here in NYC. It’s a booze-free pop up bar designed to be a fun, safe space for sober (curious) folks. Love the third place concept so much!
